Azalea Garden Center is a family-owned lot in Northside Richmond. We grow our business the old way: good plants, fair prices, and people who will walk the rows with you and tell you what will actually grow in your yard.
The lot turns over with the calendar. Here’s roughly when to come for what.
Typical seasons. Stock changes week to week, so call ahead for something specific.
Spring, march to may
Flats of pansies and early annuals, flowering shrubs, and the azaleas the place is named for, plus the soil and mulch to get beds ready in one trip.
Summer, june to august
Heat-tough annuals, full hanging baskets, and container-ready shrubs for Richmond summers, with pots and planters to put them in.
Fall, september to november
Heirloom pumpkins stacked on the pallets, mums in every color, and pansies that carry the beds through winter.
Winter, late november to february
Rows of Christmas trees to walk through, living evergreens for the porch, and everything you need to keep a tree fresh through the holidays.
