Independent website concept prepared for review. This is not the official Shyndigz website.

What this site does that the current one doesn’t

Ten upgrades over shyndigz.com. Each “Show me” takes you to it on the site.

  1. Today’s cake is the headline

Now on shyndigz.comThe daily cake is on a monthly flyer image, and the menu says to ask your server.

In this conceptThe home page names today’s cake and this week’s gluten-free cakes and pie, and it updates itself every day.

  2. What’s happening right now

Now on shyndigz.comWine Down, 4 for 3, Try It Tuesday, and patio music are only on Instagram. Happy hour is only inside a menu image.

In this conceptA live board shows what’s on at this moment and whether the savory kitchen is open.

  3. A cake calendar people can use

Now on shyndigz.comThe calendar is a picture. Search engines, screen readers, and phone users zooming in can’t really read it.

In this conceptTap any day to see its cake, search for a flavor like “Oreo,” and save a reminder to your phone’s calendar.

  4. Plan a whole cake before ordering

Now on shyndigz.comCustomers go straight to Toast. The 48-hour notice and sprinkle-border rule are in the Terms of Use on the Policies page.

In this conceptCustomers see their message piped on the cake, get the earliest pickup day, and copy their details into Toast. The rules sit right next to the button.

  5. Every menu, in text

Now on shyndigz.comDesserts are on the Menu Details page, the savory bites menu is an image, and gluten-free info is split between About and FAQ.

In this conceptDesserts, savory bites, grab and go, and drinks on one page, with a gluten-free filter and every GF item marked.

  6. The 24/7 locker gets its own spotlight

Now on shyndigz.comA “Monday Locker Pickup” button, with nothing about what the locker is or what’s in it.

In this conceptA section with a live clock, the latest locker list, and the Monday pre-order link.

  7. The whole family, clearly

Now on shyndigz.comThe Fancy Biscuit promo and the dear john suites sit in the middle of the dessert homepage.

In this conceptYour storefront drawings show each of the three doors and what it does, with the suites and their photos on the Our story page.

  8. Six clear tabs

Now on shyndigz.comNine menu items plus “More…”

In this conceptToday, Cakes, Menu, Market, Our story, and Visit, with Order online in the top bar on every page.

  9. A reason to apply

Now on shyndigz.comBenefits and values are in a flyer image on their own page.

In this conceptBenefits, values, and the fab five are in text, one tap from the application.

  10. Easier to find on Google

Now on shyndigz.comThe home page title is “Home | shyndigz,” and your cake calendar and savory menu are images.

In this conceptEvery page has a clear title and description, and all of that information is in text search engines can read.
